She currently lives in the Greenwood neighborhood, and will travel anywhere in the greater Seattle area. <br><br> She also creates henna body art at local festivals throughout the summer. Check the home page for upcoming events where you can find Antoinette! <br><br> Travel fees may apply. Appointments with deposit fees will require 72 hour notice for cancellation or deposit will be non-refundable. <br><br> <span class="inner_text_lead">Henna Parties</span> are a great way to relax and enjoy your friends and/or family while pampering yourself with henna! Party rates are $75 an hour. There is a two hour minimum with parties over 6 people. Corporate rates are $90 an hour with a two hour minimum. <br><br> <a href="img/doing henna.JPG" target="_new"><img src="img/doing henna.JPG" border="0" class="example_img" style="float: left; margin: 2px 14px 14px 0;" /></a> Antoinette is only one artist, but she's fast! She can typically do 6-8 medium/large size (ie: back of the hand) pieces in an hour, or 15-20 smaller pieces (anklet, bracelet, flowers). For events such as bat mitzvahs and childrens parties, she has created a book of over 60 small designs to choose from! <br><br> <span class="inner_text_lead">Bridal Henna</span> is a very traditional and beautiful practice. Designs are usually applied to the hands and feet, and are often performed in a Mehndi Party, in which the bride is adorned, as well as the family and wedding party. <span style="text-transform: lowercase; font-variant: small-caps;">PLEASE CONTACT ANTOINETTE FOR HER CURRENT BRIDAL HENNA RATES AND POLICIES.</span> Book several months in advance to ensure Antoinette is available for your special day! A deposit will be required upon booking. <br><br> <span class="inner_text_lead">Individual Sessions</span> by appointment only at Makeda Coffee in Greenwood, or Antoinette's new shop in Greenlake. Sessions start at $20 and go up depending on the design. If you have a special custom design in mind, please send it to Antoinette at time of booking to ensure feasibility and accurate pricing. <br><br> <span class="inner_text_lead">Belly Henna / Pregnant Henna</span> is also a long-standing, safe tradition in many cultures. The mother-to-be is pampered and adored, while a beautiful design is created to celebrate the new life waiting to arrive! Designs start at $25. This event is usually performed in the last 3-4 weeks of the pregnancy. <br><br> <a href="img/resting red hair.jpg" target="_new"><img src="img/resting red hair.jpg" border="0" class="example_img" style="float: right; margin: 8px 0 0 14px;" /></a> <span class="inner_text_lead">Henna For Hair</span> New! Antoinette has learned the secrets to hennaing the hair! She has her own hair hennaed every month or so. Enjoy this soothing, cooling, relaxing experience in the comfort of your own home! Henna (or a mix of henna and indigo) is applied liberally to the head in a mud, and left on the hair for 3-4 hours. It is a permanent, vibrant, natural hair dye! Rates start at $40, not including the product cost. (Typical total costs will be between $50 and $100 depending on length of hair and color desired). Book at least 2 weeks in advance to ensure enough product is available. </p> </td> </tr> </table> </td> <td valign="top" width="40%"> <p class="inner_text"> <span class="inner_text_lead">Festival Henna</span> designs start at $10 and go up from there, depending on complexity.
